Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm - FAYM Gathering
This night is not a rehearsal but a night for students to gather together and have fun with each other through games, music activities, and other really creative activities. Teachers and guests will perform, and students are also encouraged to bring their instruments and perform for one another. A new sign up will be available each week.
Thursday 4:00 - 5:40pm - Chamber Orchestra
Mr. Thomas plans to lead an ensemble of advanced students who will participate in learning a challenging program of music. Students are expected to attend all Thursdays through May 27. Entry into this ensemble is based on teacher recommendations.
Just ask your teacher about how to sign up!
BECAUSE OF HEALTH RESTRICTIONS, PARENTS AND SIBLINGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY. STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO WEAR A MASK FOR THE ENTIRETY OF ALL REHEARSALS AND GATHERINGS. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE IN EFFECT, AND STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO MONITOR THEIR OWN HEALTH TO AVOID SPREAD OF ILLNESS.
For each of these sessions, the focus will be on music. However, FAYM also realizes the need for students to interact, have a positive social experience, and be given the opportunity to create and find joy. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Tim Thomas, Program Coordinator.
